(plus connu sous le nom de Club des Jacobins.) “Approuvée pour être imprimée, MIRABEAU L'AINÉ.” - texte révolutionnaire (1790) - 2pp in-4°. “Messieurs. Nous voyons avec plaisir, le zèle dont vous êtes animés pour le Salut de la chose publique. Le but de notre institution étant de propager le Patriotisme dans toutes les parties de l'Empire, toutes les sociétés des Amis de la Constitution, doivent s'unir par les liens de la plus intime fraternité, et s'attacher à ne former qu'une seule et même famille afin de travailler de concert à assurer le triomphe des Lois et de la Liberté. Espérons, Messieurs, qu'un jour la Nation toute entière rendra justice à la pureté de nos vues, et qu'elle reconnaîtra, sans peine, que les sociétés des Amis de la Constitution, ont concouru à fixer, dans cet empire, la Paix et le Bonheur. Nous nous empressons de vous apprendre combien la Société a été flattée de vous accorder l'affiliation que vous lui avez demandée. Recevez, Messieurs, l'assurance bien sincère des sentiments d'estime et de fraternité que se doivent réciproquement tous les Amis de la Constitution.»

(better known as the Jacobins Club.) "Approved for printing, MIRABEAU THE EARLY EARLY." - revolutionary text (1790) - 2pp in-4°. "Gentlemen. We see with pleasure, the zeal with which you are animated for the salvation of the public thing. The aim of our institution being to propagate Patriotism in all parts of the Empire, all the societies of the Friends of the Constitution, must unite by the bonds of the most intimate fraternity, and endeavour to form one and the same family in order to work together to ensure the triumph of Laws and Liberty. Let us hope, Gentlemen, that one day the entire nation will do justice to the purity of our views, and that it will recognize, without difficulty, that the societies of the Friends of the Constitution have helped to establish Peace and Happiness in this empire. We hasten to tell you how flattered the Society has been to grant you the affiliation you have asked for.
