Lettre A.S. du Comte Henri de REISET, Paris 30 oct. 1845, 1p in-4°, il s'empresse de répondre à la lettre qui l'informe de son admission au nombre des membres de l'Histoire de France. “Je suis heureux de faire partie de cette société, fondée dans un but si intéressant et si utile...” (Unique abbatiale cistercienne conservée en Normandie. Impressionnant vaisseau gothique datant des XIIe et XIIIe siècles. Guillaume de Marcilly la fit construire à son retour de croisade. Au XIXème siècle, le Comte de REISET, diplomate et amateur d'art éclairé, entreprit sa restauration dans le goût du Second Empire.)

Approximately 140 letters and documents: Letters of Count REISET, Correspondence, File on the restoration of the Chapel, memoirs, leases, invoices, payments, receipts, 1 engraving, 1 newspaper, 6 photos, 43 postcards concerning mainly the Abbey of Breuil. Letter A.S. of Count Henri de REISET, Paris 30 Oct. 1845, 1p in-4°, he hastens to answer the letter informing him of his admission to the membership of the History of France. "I am happy to be part of this society, founded for such an interesting and useful purpose..." (Only Cistercian abbey-church preserved in Normandy. Impressive Gothic vessel dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Guillaume de Marcilly had it built on his return from the Crusades. In the 19th century, the Count of REISET, diplomat and enlightened art lover, undertook its restoration in the taste of the Second Empire).
