Foglio di mm. 237x348. Disegno a pennello acquarellato, nero, grigio e biacca, su carta avorio a vergelle. Foxing nella parte superiore del foglio, buona conservazione.

Grandiosa e luminosa scena animata da moltissimi personaggi. Al centro una giovane e attraente contadina danza al suono di un flauto, attorniata da donne, pastori, bambini e animali: sullo sfondo, alcuni elementi architettonici. Le ombre e i tocchi di biacca, soprattutto sulle vesti drappeggiate delle donne, conferiscono all’intera scena un’accentuata vibrazione luministica.

Great and bright scene animated by many characters. In the center, a young and attractive peasant woman dances to the sound of a flute, surrounded by women, shepherds, children and animals: in the background, some architectural elements. The shadows and touches of white lead, especially on the draped dresses of the women, give the whole scene an accentuated luministic vibration.
