Xilografia. Due fogli uniti insieme, complessivamente 210x265 mm. Immagine riquadrata con linea nera. Fitta scritta in caratteri Hiragana. Nel margine in alto a destra riquadro con scritta in Kanji colorata di rosso. Buono stato di conservazione.

Shunga. Scena di carattere erotico, con la giovane donna che raccoglie con le mani l’acqua che zampilla da una fontana nel giardino. Alle sue spalle il suo amante la guarda. Sullo sfondo un paesaggio con un villaggio. Utagawa Kunisada, conosciuto anche come Utagawa Toyokuni III, Edo, 1786 –1865, è stato uno dei più famosi disegnatori di stampe su blocchi di legno Ukiyo-e del Giappone del XIX secolo. È stato a capo di una delle più importanti scuole di stampa xilografica giapponese, la Scuola Utagawa.

Shunga. Dyptich. Erotic scene, with the young woman who collects with her hands the water that gushes from a fountain in the garden. Behind her her lover looks at her. In the background a landscape with a village. Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, Edo, 1786–1865, was one of the most famous Ukiyo-e woodblock print designers of 19th century Japan. He was the head of one of the most important Japanese woodblock printing schools, the Utagawa School.
