In-8 ; demi-maroquin havane à coins (reliure de l'époque). Édition originale rare. Elle est illustrée de 4 planches gravées, repliées, dont 2 en couleurs. L'une d'elles représente « a balloon prospect from above the clouds » . On y voit la terre, comme une carte géographique, les nuages et le trajet figuré du ballon. C'est certainement la première représentation d'une vue aérienne. Quelques rousseurs, et quelques accrocs à la reliure. Ex-libris Sidney Townshand.
