Description
In-8° : [16]-302-[4] lvs (handwritten ex-libris crossed out on the title-page, stamps, paper repair at the upper corner of Oviii).
Contemporary binding : calf on wooden boards, blind stamped boards (fillets, characters and vegetal ornaments), ribbed spine (clasps lacking, upper corner of back board damaged, some repairs nicely done, handwritten mention on the upper flyleaf).

RARE SECOND EDITION -identical to the first edition of 1560- of this dialogue between Theophilus and Dorothea on various controversial subjects like the transsubstantiation, Sabbath, Holy Spirit, etc. Wood-engraved printer's mark on the title-page. Boulenger (+ 1598) was a French grammarian and professor of theology at the University of Pisa.
