Description
Small in-f° : front.-[12]-208 pp.; 1 pl. (some pp. somewhat yellowed, small or light dampstains, one marginal tear repaired, small foxing, tears in pp. 91 and 171 without lacks, rare stains).
Contemporary binding : parchment with small flaps, flat spine, marbled edges (a few small wears).

FIRST EDITION of this work on the horse training and riding by the Neapolitan Nicola Santapaulina edited by his son Luigi, rider in the "Accademia Delia" in Padova, who added in book III specific technics for wars and shows. Illustrated with an etched allegoric frontiespiece with Tuscany coat-of-arms above, the portrait of Nicola Santapaulina and some sketches in the text.
