One of the three "second edition", the others published by Robert Estienne (Paris, 1535) and by Sébastien Gryphe (Lyon, 1536), of this work often reprinted (1st ed. : P. Girault, 1535).
Treatise on ancient attire, from hats to sandals, carpets, rugs and colours of wools and cloths written by the humanist and diplomat de Baïf abridged for children by Charles Estienne, private tutor of de Baïf's son Jean Antoine. With an index in Latin and French. Mark of Estienne on the title-page.
