Contemporary binding : parchment, flat spine with ink title in length (lower flyleaf lacking). Second edition (1st ed. : Paris, 1542, in-8°) of this work by the Belgian naturalist and doctor Fuchs (1510-1587), on medicinal plants and herbs waters. With a list of useful plants in medicine.
