RARE SECOND ÉDITION. Important illustrated work on pyrotechnics and rockets, in this improved and enlarged edition by the author. Frézier traces the history of production and use of fireworks. At the end of the book a list of technical terms. The treaty, originally released in 1706 with eight plates, a huge success: the author decided to prepare this new expanded and corrected version following the publication of an edition pirated in 1741
