Important corpus of works of astrology, which opens with the two classic texts of Gaius Julius Hyginus, a freedman of Augustus and his librarian: they are added to other works of astronomical and astrological Hellenistic several authors, among which the Greek texts of Arato and Proclus, with the Latin translation in the face. The beautiful woodcuts depicting the constellations of the zodiac, the planets, the Sun, the Moon and the Sphere: establishing in a certain shape and position of the constellations and asterisms, this work has had an important influence on celestial cartography of the sixteenth and seventeenth century, until Johann Bayer.
