Folio, cm. 395x250; •Beautiful Armorial roman binding in red morocco, last quarter of the eighteenth century, spine with five raised bands; in the panels, a central acorn, surrounding foliage and set aside tapes, an green morocco label with gilt title, endpapers with xylographic ornamentation, cut of the cover adorned with geometric friezes, gilded cuts; pp. [34], 520, CIX. Coat of arms in the woodcut title-page, text on two columns. •Armorial roman binding of the last quarter of the eighteenth century, decorated, with gilding cleverly made. Red morocco with rich decorations: outer frame with phytomorphic motifs alternating with twisted ribbons; in the cover, decorated inside with a frame of chain boxes, stylized acanthus leaves, stars and pylons in the corners. At the center of the dishes the large coat of arms surmounted by the prelate Archbishop hair with ten tassels: under the Cardinal's hat an angel. Within foliated acanthus, the shaped emblem: quartered, the first and fourth quarter with decorative diamond shapes, the second with crowned eagle, the third with squirrel. The ornamental plant and the kind of frame testify to the Capitoline origin of the binding; in particular, the high quality of the leather used and the gilding suggest a primary workshop.
