Are collected the major poetic works of the writer and humanist Traetto: very interesting the second volume with epigrams and poems dedicated to characters from Greek mythology and classical antiquity.•Minturno insegnò presso l'Università di Pisa, divenne vescovo e partecipò al Concilio di Trento: molto apprezzato sia come trattatista sia come poeta, fu ammirato da Torquato Tasso che dedicò a lui il dialogo intitolato, Minturno, ovvero de la bellezza.
