FIRST EDITION. In the same year they came out the presses of various different printers.
In this beautiful description of the Morea shows historical information, geographical and relating to customs, with special reference to the rule of Venice : The second part deals with the most important cities of which are given modern names.
The map when folded, dated 1685, depicts the entire peninsula with an indication of its regions.

The eighteen plates depict some of the places described in the text, in order, Corinth, Napoli Romania, Mistra, Maina, Zarnata, Kalamata, Passaua, Malvasia, Chielafa, Navarino, Modon, Coron, Belvedere, Antra Vida, Cast. Tornese, Patras, Sicionia, Leondari. The date appears on the reverse of the paper 6, the bottom of the printer chamber dedicated to Ottavio Viscount.
