Illustrated with 3 folding maps partly heightened (North & South America, United States), 11 plates (discovery of America by Columbus, Hatuey burnt at the stake, Balboa discovering the Southern Ocean, Hataulpa refusing the Breviary...) and 2 portraits (Robertson and G. Washington). The first edition was published in 1777.
