Early 20th century binding : verdigris marbled calf, gilt decorated boards "à la Du Seuil", gilt decorated ribbed spine, gilt top-edge, gilt roll-stamps on the edges, wappers preserved (spine faded). In a case. Deluxe limited edition (there is an issue on normal paper) printed to 500 numbered copies on Japanese paper (n° 389) with the frontispiece in colour and a suite of 23 plates in black.
