Description
Alexander van Roosbroek as secretary for Zichem and Scherpenheuvel. The Hague, 7 January 1777, act on vellum, c. 40 x 54 cm, plica 7,5 cm, with very large red wax seal, c. 10,5 cm in diameter, on vellum tails, showing arms of Willem V (def. at top and bottom, orig. folds). In excellent condition. Willem V (1748-1806) was also Baron of Diest, etc.. Announcing the decease of Arnoldus Reijnders, secretary for Zichem and scherpenheuvel, and the nomination of J.J.a. van roosbroek as his successor. Countersigned at bottom and on verso (dated 9 January 1777). With acceptation formula (in plica) signed by van roosbroe(c)k and dated “scherpenheuvel 15 februarij 1777”.
