Description
L'écrivain et le journaliste ont corrigé, raturé, amélioré au crayon et au stylo bille ces retranscriptions tapuscrites des émissions diffusées en 1955; - 6 LETTRES: 2 L.A.S. (1 p. à l'encre, mai 1955), 4 L.T.S. (nov. 1955, 3 pp.) et 1 carte de correspondance autographe signée Au sujet des Entretiens. «Je ne sais pas comment vous avez l'habitude de travailler. Pour ma part, je préfère improviser, sans connaître d'avance les questions qui me sont posées. Mais celui qui questionne doit évidemment savoir où il va. Connaissez-vous bien mon oeuvre ? Avez-vous un plan des émissions...». Répète que les enregistrements doivent être préparés, sans quoi il perdra un grand nombre d'heures. Concernant la rémunération pour leur publication après leur transmission: «je vous signale que le prix pour un roman dans une publication importante est de 1200000 francs. Cela vous donne une idée comparative de ce que nous pouvons accepter...». Sont joints: Copie de la lettre de Parinaud sollicitant Simenon (1re p. seule); 2 L.T.S. de Mme Simenon fixant rendez-vous à Mougins pour l'enregistrement; 1 L.A.S. concernant la publication des Entretiens; J. Decrest: 1 p.a.s., petit article sur Simenon, avec envoi à Parinaud; A. PARINAUD: Présentation de Simenon, 10 pp. tap. et 5 pp. manuscrites. Parinaud y explique le déroulement des entretiens, révèle un Simenon intime et bifurque vers la biographie; et 2 revues et brochures sur Simenon. The writer and the journalist corrected, crossed out, improved with pencil and ballpoint pen these typescript transcriptions of the programs broadcast in 1955; - 6 LETTERS: 2 L.A.S. (1 p. in ink, May 1955), 4 L.T.S. (Nov. 1955, 3 pp.) and 1 autograph correspondence card signed Au sujet des Entretiens. "I don't know how you're used to working. For my part, I prefer to improvise, without knowing in advance the questions I am asked. But the one who questions must obviously know where he's going. Are you familiar with my work? Do you have a plan of the shows? Repeat that the recordings must be prepared, otherwise he'll lose a lot of hours. Concerning the remuneration for their publication after their transmission: "I would like to point out that the price for a novel in a major publication is 1200,000 francs. This gives you a comparative idea of what we can accept". Parinaud explains the course of the interviews, reveals an intimate Simenon and forks towards the biography; and 2 reviews and brochures on Simenon.
