Recueil miniature entièrement gravé au burin par l'auteur, contrecollé dans un ouvrage in-8 relié, de cet auteur quasi inconnu dont le seul travail qui lui est attribué est cet ouvrage. L'Héritier a utilisé le texte liturgique latin (Ordinaire de la messe avec Pâques proprement dite) comme base de son imagerie, paraphrasant le texte en français sur les pages opposées. Notons en plus des nombreuses gravures intexte 2 gravures au burin d'Alexandre-Joseph L'Héritier en tête de volume représentant le Christ en gloire et Louis XV en prière devant un crucifix. Approbation de l'abbé Chrétien, censeur ecclésiastique, du 3 avril 1770 et Privilège du roi en avril 1770 sont inclus en fin de volume. Full Jansenist brown speckled calf (originally two gilt fillets on the hunts), spine ribbed with a gilt crown of thorns in the centre, marbled paper endpapers (contemporary binding). Miniature collection entirely engraved with burin by the author, pasted in an in-8 bound work by this almost unknown author whose only work attributed to him is this book. The Heir used the Latin liturgical text (Ordinary of the Mass with Easter proper) as the basis of his imagery, paraphrasing the French text on the opposite pages. Note in addition to the numerous engravings intexte 2 burin engravings by Alexandre-Joseph L'Héritier at the head of the volume depicting Christ in glory and Louis XV praying before a crucifix. The approval of Abbot Chrétien, ecclesiastical censor, of April 3, 1770 and Privilege of the King in April 1770 are included at the end of the volume (Used binding: some rubbing and scratches on the plates, damaged spine, blunt corners, lack of gilding).
