filet à froid, dos orné, pièce de titre rouge, roulette intérieure, tranches dorées sur marbrure (Reliure du XVIIIe siècle). Seconde et dernière édition gothique de ce roman de chevalerie. Imprimée en caractères gothiques, elle est ornée de 6 titres placés dans des encadrements gravés sur bois de style bâlois, celui du premier tome imprimé en noir et rouge, et d'une grande figure sur bois représentant l'adoubement d'un chevalier par un roi. PROVENANCE Ex-libris armoriés gravés du comte de Aylesford et de Richard de Loménie. (Manquent 4 feuillets dans le troisième volume (5e tome, ff. L2 à L5). Second and last gothic edition of this chivalry novel. Printed in Gothic characters, it is decorated with 6 titles placed in woodcut frames in the Basel style, the one of the first volume printed in black and red, and a large figure on wood representing the knighthood of a knight by a king. PROVENANCE Engraved armorial bookplate of the Earl of Aylesford and Richard of Loménie (4 leaves are missing in the third volume (5th volume, ff. L2 to L5). Very used binding, the first plates detached).
