tête dorée, couverture et dos orange conservés, étui de papier marbré et de maroquin rouge (Devauchelle) (reliure d'époque). édition originale enrichie d'une lettre autographe signée montée sur onglet en tête de volume (1/2 page in-8 sur papier réglé) adressée à «Mon vieux Coco»: «j'ai oublié de te dire, hier, qu'il serait bon, après m'avoir si affectueusement remercié de ton exemplaire des D. o. s., d'écrire un mot à Calmann qui, je l'apprends à l'instant, n'a pas joint comme je le lui demandais, sa carte à la mienne, pour me laisser tout l'honneur. Mais en fait il est de moitié dans le don. A. Fr.». Un des 200 exemplaires du tirage de tête sur papier vergé de Hollande, celui-ci imprimé pour Noël Charavay (18..-1932), célèbre libraire et expert en autographes de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle. Original edition enriched with a signed autograph letter mounted on a tab at the head of the volume (1/2 page in-8 on ruled paper) addressed to "Mon vieux Coco": "I forgot to tell you, yesterday, that it would be good, after having so affectionately thanked me for your copy of the D. o. s., to write a word to Calmann who, I learn it at the moment, did not join as I asked him, his card to mine, to leave me all the honor.
