Les illustrations in-texte, en noir et en couleurs, ont été reproduites en lithographies offset. PROVENANCE Dorothy Van Everen Howland, April 1943; étiquette de The Old Corner Book Store à Boston (n° 711) (Coins et coiffes arasés, jaquette en état d'usage avec quelques rousseurs). Brick percaline, illustration and title on the first plate in burgundy letters, with an illustration of The Little Prince (p. 15), titled spine, printed illustrated colour jacket with flaps, cover with flaps. Original English-language edition, first American edition published in New York, based on the translation by Katherine Woods. In-text illustrations in black and colour were reproduced in offset lithographs.
