Description
Manuscript in black and red ink divided into 50 scenes, with notes of the composer referring to the several actors/singers. Music written for the play "The Duchess of Padua", a melodramatic tragedy set in Padua by Oscar Wilde. Referring to the title "Musica di scena" i.e. incidental music, Lualdi probably wrotes this music specially for a performance of this tragedy. Lualdi (1885-1971), Italian composer and conductor, composed several operas.
