With col. frontisp., engr. vignettes on t.-ps and 61 pls drawn by Prout, Stanfield, Cattermole, Purser, Cox, Austen, etc. after original sketches by Commander Robert Elliott (1801-1875), who from 1822 to 1824 travelled in India, Canton, and the Red Sea. The text is written by Emma Roberts (c.1794-1840). The plate showing the British residency at Hyderabad is erroneously bound after the 1st vol.
