with continued pagination in 1 vol. in-8° : 1073/1647-[1] pp. (handwritten provenances crossed off the title-page, dampstains, some large, copy slightly yellowed). Contemporary binding : sprinkled sheepskin, boards encircled with 3 blind fillets, gilt decorated ribbed spine (joints partly split, upper turn in lacking, some scratches, joints lightly rubbed, edges and corners dulled, two corners strongly, label on the upper pastedown). Erasmus' paraphrases of the Gospel of John and the Acts of the Apostles (without notes on Matthew, Mark and Luke), part of the first volume of his commentaries in 2 volumes on all the New Testament (1st ed. : 1521-1524).
