threequarter brown morocco, marbled paper boards, gilt decorated ribbed spine, red edges (slightly soiled). First edition of the translation of this richly illustrated mythological work (1st French ed. : 1733) : engraved title and 60 plates in beautifully decorated frames, mostly signed Bernard Picart, accompanied by captions in 4 languages (French, English, German and Dutch).
