Exceptional series of 30 vol. (incl. 9 doubles) of this popular publication with hundreds of steel engravings.  It was published in London by H. Fisher, R. Fisher, and P. Jackson, but it was so successful that it was also distributed in New York, Paris, Berlin, and St. Petersburg.(...). The popularity of the Drawing Room Scrap-Book is evidenced by its long, 23-year run (from 1832 to 1854) overseen by five different editors. (...). Each volume contains 36 engravings, which typically depict landscape, architecture, and portraits. Engravings reproduce paintings by Thomas Allom, Samuel Prout, E.T. Parris, Edward H. Corbould, William Henry Bartlett, George Cattermole, and William Purser. Among the Drawing Room Scrap Book's engravers were W.H. Mote, Henry Robinson, Henry Cook, John Cochran, and James Thomson.
