Description
Nice copper engravings by i.a. Ph., Io., Th. & Corn. Galle, De Vos, Bouttats, Harrewijn, F. Zucchi, N. de Mathonière, Huberti etc. They depict scenes of the gospel and passion, saints i.a. : S. Carolus Borromaeus, Dominicus, Reine, the Holy Mother, etc. 1 engr. by P. van Pinxen, made for the Brotherhood of shoemakers to honnor their patron St Anianus. We join : 29 copper engravings of saints, 17th c., mostly by I. Cnobbaert, some by I. van Mechelen, 14 x 10 cm. All carefully kept in plastic maps in an album. Coll. stamp Anna van Poeck. Very clear printed engr. in very good condition.
