Notarial document on a dispute relating to Bayonne, Capbreton ("pont de bertaco"), and Toulouse, [Bayonne], 15 March 1394. French act on vellum, c. 46,5 x 32,5 cm. In good condition, but cut into two halves (tears in folds repaired with sellotape).

Description
Arrangements agreed in order to finish a dispute between a number of people in Bayonne, with names and list of witnesses. It was written “regnante Richard Roy dangleterre & duc daquitaine”, i.e. in the reign of Richard (of Bordeaux), King of England 1377-1399. Names on verso i.a. “mess. b. delehet auesque de baion(ne”, i.e. Bernard de Lahet, bishop 1504-1519.
