I.a. : File on a sale of land (1703). - File on a heritage case, [29] ff. (loosening). - Large file on taxes (‘jaer seven’ = 1798-1799), signed "J. Frans Berghmans’", [10] ff. - File on land property, including copies of older documents. - Official letter (16 March 1816) of Ed. de Burbure, mayor of Mespelaar, to King Willem I about the heraldic arms of the village, with later manuscript notes on the refusal by the "Conseil Suprême de Noblesse". - Various smaller documents. Joined : Some unrelated documents, i.a. receipts of 1608-1609 (def.), “Extrait d’un denombrement de la Seigneurie de Herlaer”, a document of the "gedeputeerde van het Land van Aelst" (1694), an English act on vellum, Ealing 1771 ("Copy of the admission of Mr Benjamin Horne") etc.
