Description
In German. Bruch (1838-1920, romantic composer and conductor) expresses in this letter of attestation his appreciation for the young violonist Corinne Coryn whome he was following the past years with great interest. He mentions her artistic development and her great dedication. He describes her as one of the best pupils of J. Joachim. The letter ends with the official titles of Bruch being a member of the "Akademie der Künst" and the "Hochschüle für Müsik". We join : Id. - Autogr. sign. (initials) visiting card to Clara Schnitzler, Berlin, 7/10/1901. In German. M. Bruch writing to C. Schnitzler recommanding the young violonist Corinne Coryn who is coming to Brussels. Bruch describes Coryn as an excellent pupil of Joseph Joachim. J. Joachim was a Hungarian violinist, conductor, composer and teacher widely regarded as one of the most significant violinists of the 19th century.
