In French. Lalo sends a music fragment (not included) to Colonne for the concert of "La Société National" and for "le concert Dièmes". E. Lalo (1823-1892) was a French violonist and composer whose works were performed at the concerts organised by the Société Nationale de Musique, a society founded in 1871 to promote French music and composers. E. Colonne (1838-1910), also French violonist and composer, was a proponent of the music of eminent 19th-century composers.
