Interesting lot with almost 60 files of composers and musicians of the late 19th-early 20th c. The files contain often a short biography beside a wide range of correspondence, almost all with the French pianist and composer Fr. Thomé (1850-1909). Among the composers : P. Benoit with an autogr. signed letter to ask Thomé to assist at one of his concerts; E. Boulanger with a short note to ask Thomé to compose a melody for his wife; V. d'Indy with condolences; C. Saint-Saens with 2 unsigned printed visiting cards; H. Vieuxtemps with 2 autogr. signed letters to Thomé and to Deldevez; P. Mascagni with an autogr. signed letter to Thomé to thank him for the friendship, etc.
