Rare ed. of this description of Holland by J. Wagenaar (1709-1773). This (later ?) ed. seems to be a part (Holland) of the "Hedendaagsche Historie, oft tegenwoordige staat van alle volkeren..." with new title pages. Engr. ills mostly by J.C. Philips : 3 front., 12 maps (i.a. of Schieland, Rijnland, Nijmegen, Veluwe and Schenkenschans etc.), 23 plans (i.a. Pumerend, Monnikendam, Edam, Enkhuisen, Alkmaar, Schiedam, Schoonhoven, etc.) and 19 plates.
