Grapheus, 1530, [40] ff., 4 works in 1 vol., 8vo, cont. panelstamped calf binding by Livinus Bloemaert, Bruges (?), c. 1531, (sl. loosening, rubbed, a few tiny holes, endpapers loosening, front flyleaf gone), each cover with double blind panelstamp, spine on 3 raised bands, remains of vellum ties (paper age-toned and dampstained, soiling, marg. worming and single wormholes touching some letters). Good copies. 
Rare collection of Catholic apologies against "reformed" opinions. The binder L. Bloemaert (fl. c. 1480-153x) was active at Bruges.  A few cont. marg. notes. 1. Very rare (3rd recorded copy?) Paris ed. of the original Augsburg ed. of a treatise against Zwingli (1484-1531) by Johann (von) Eck (1486-1543). Title within woodcut border with initials "N S". Ref. Pettegree FB 68952.
