Rare 2nd ed. (1st 1707 titled "Favissae utriusque antiquitatis") of this beautiful illustrated work by H. Spoor (1693-1715). Engr. ills : title-vign. and 99 portraits (some signed P. Bodart) depicting gods and heroes from classical mythology and history. Each pl. accompanied with Latin verses and an epigram. Ref. STCN (2 i.a. 1 at BL London). Cicognara 3014. We join : Ausonius, Decimus Maximus - Opera ad optimas editiones collata (...).
