Description
l'encre noire et rouge, réglé de rouge, sur quatorze lignes au-dessous de notation musicale carrée. Initiales d'une ligne calligraphiées à l'encre noire ou rouge, rubriques en rouge. Le premier feuillet débute avec le chant grégorien Responsorium - Cum alleluia («Angelus Domini bonus comitetur tecum [...]»). PROVENANCE Cantal (Auvergne). Mentions manuscrites postérieures à l'encre et crayon dont deux sur le 3ème feuillet: «Quezac Renhac parsse de Jussac / Roussi Et La Boygue parsse de St Sernin»; «Pierre de Cros notre a Aurillac». Mention de Jussac (Cantal) également sur le 2nd feuillet. Fragment d'un bel antiphonaire. (Traces de pliures, trous marginaux dans le premier feuillet sans altération de texte).Handwritten antiphonary leaflets. France, Auvergne (Cantal), 11th century]. 4 double-page folios on vellum (495 x 380 mm), calligraphy in red and black with square music notated. Text in gothic bookish script in black and red ink, set in red, on fourteen lines below square music notation. Initials of one line calligraphed in black or red ink, rubrics in red. The first leaf begins with the Gregorian chant Responsorium - Cum alleluia ("Angelus Domini bonus comitetur tecum [...]"). PROVENANCE Cantal (Auvergne). Subsequent handwritten mentions in ink and pencil, two of them on the third page: "Quezac Renhac parsse de Jussac / Roussi Et La Boygue parsse de St Sernin"; "Pierre de Cros notre a Aurillac". Mention of Jussac (Cantal) also on the 2nd sheet. Fragment of a beautiful antiphonary. (Traces of folds, marginal holes in the first leaf without alteration of the text).
