1797 In-8, [frontispice gravé], [I]-X, 436 pp., [ff. de titre], 480 pp., [6 ff.], en allemand. Demi-veau brun à coins, dos lisse orné avec pièce de titre de maroquin fauve, tranches rouges. Quatrième édition augmentée et améliorée. En frontispice, portrait gravé sur cuivre du poète et théologien luthérien Sturm, signé en bas à droite par Geyser [Christian Gottlieb]. Titulaire d'une maîtrise en philosophie en 1761, Sturm s'installe à Halle afin d'y poursuivre ses études avant de prendre, deux ans plus tard, un poste de professeur de pédagogie. (Dos abîmé dont la partie inférieure partiellement arrachée; rousseurs, mentions manuscrites au crayon sur feuillet liminaire et p. 477). Brown half calf with corners, smooth spine decorated with a fawn morocco titleplate, red edges. Fourth enlarged and improved edition. In frontispiece, copper-engraved portrait of the Lutheran poet and theologian Sturm, signed lower right by Geyser [Christian Gottlieb]. Sturm received a master's degree in philosophy in 1761 and moved to Halle to continue his studies before taking up a post as professor of pedagogy two years later.
