Plein veau brun, plats à double filets dorés en encadrement, dos à nerfs titré et orné (reliure d'époque). édition originale de ce vaste ouvrage historique par Du Boulay, recteur et greffier de l'Université de Paris, surtout connu pour être l'historiographe de cette université. édition illustrée d'une grande vignette au titre, d'initiales, bandeaux et culs-de-lampe, et de 18 figures gravées sur cuivre dans le texte. Mentions manuscrites marginales à l'encre brune. PROVENANCE Bibliothèque de la famille De Mons (ex-libris manuscrit sur titre-frontispice). Original edition of this vast historical work by Du Boulay, rector and clerk of the University of Paris, best known as the historiographer of that university. Edition illustrated with a large title vignette, initials, headbands and culs-de-lampe, and 18 figures engraved on copper in the text. Marginal handwritten mentions in brown ink.
