Description
Crash course in heraldry by the famous Liège priest, botanist, composer G.J.E. Ramoux (1750-1826). From 1773-1784 he was principal of the Grand Collège founded by Prince-Bishop François-Charles de Velbruck (1719-1784). In 1779 he co-founded the Société libre d’Émulation. In 1784 he was sent away by Velbruck’s successor and became a parish priest in Glons. He is the author of the patriotic song “Valeureux Liégeois” (1790).
