fleurettes et marges à décor floral intégrant des fleurons. Manuscrit richement orné de nombreuses enluminures polychromes et dorées. L’ouvrage est une compilation de textes religieux comptant plusieurs sourates du Coran aux titres enluminés, des prières, et plusieurs textes concernant le Prophète Muhammad et sa vie. Reliure à rabat en maroquin brun rehaussé d’un double cadre et de quatre motifs nd’angle peints à l’or.
Dimensions reliure : 10 x 7,1 cm
état : quelques déchirures et pliures, des notes manuscrites au début, restaurations, reliure très usée.[ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT]...
Prayer book, Ottoman Empire, 19th century. Manuscript on pinkish paper in margins, 7 lines of text per page, in Arabic, in cursive calligraphy, in black ink. Double frontispiece in gold and polychrome illuminated unwân with text inscribed in a circle on a gold ground with
fleurons and margins with floral decoration. Manuscript richly decorated with numerous polychrome and gilded illuminations. The work is a compilation of religious texts including several suras from the Qur'an with illuminated titles, prayers, and several texts concerning the Prophet Muhammad and his life. The book is bound in brown morocco with a double frame and four gold painted corner motifs.
Binding size : 10 x 7.1 cm
Condition : some tears and folds, some handwritten notes at the beginning, restored, very worn binding.
